Most of you will have heard that photo sharing site Instagram was sold to Facebook the other day for around $1 Billion. Yoursphere has a great article detailing what all parents should know about this app and it’s privacy settings.

The single most important thing to realize is that, by default, anyone can view the photos that you upload to Instagram. In other words, your profile and your photos are publicly viewable unless you tell it otherwise.

They also mention geotagging which is just as important, as you probably don’t want strangers knowing exactly where your child lives, or goes to school.
